But Jesus reprimanded him. “Be quiet! Come out of the man,” He ordered. At that, the evil spirit screamed, threw the man into a convulsion, and then came out of him.
Amazement gripped the audience, and they began to discuss what had happened. “What sort of new teaching is this?” they asked excitedly. “It has such authority! Even evil spirits obey his orders!” Mark 1:25-27
The two worst things you can do when coming against the strongholds, evil spirits, principalities, and the devil that is attacking your life is to 1) not recognize the Authority within you 2) remain quite.
His kingdom dwells within you, the same spirit that rose Christ from the dead dwells in you, the Godhead lives within you, the same authority the cast out demons easily is within you, the One who saw Satan fall from heaven like lighting dwells in you!! But many remain quite, not speaking from this place of Kingdom Authority. They wrestle relentlessly in their minds, but never open their mouth to speak from their spirit man. They roll around aimlessly in attempts to put their thoughts on other things and barely crack their lips. They fall into depression, fall into temptation, fall into forgiveness of others, fall into offense, and allow themselves to circle the same mountains that they consistently face.
Time to take those thoughts captive and make them obedient to what Jesus did from the Cross to the Throne. You overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word (spoken word) of our testimony. When the devil and demonic spirits try to ensnare you and place you in bondage, speak your freedom that was so freely given to you by Jesus. When the devil reminds you of your past............remind him of his future. We have already won Church, why remain in a place of defeat! Remain quiet no more! It's time to Roar and speak from a place of Kingdom Authority. Do we face pressure and tribulations..........yes, but we don't have to remain their. You walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you don't pitch a tent and camp there!
